LIMA Lima-Peru
Lima, Peru 's capital is a city of contrasts featuring a mixture of Indian, colonial and modern cultures. Founded in 1535. For three centuries it was the heart of the Spanish empire in South America , and the place where the viceroys resided. Colonial churches, palaces and mansions with ornate wooden balconies contrast with beautiful houses in modern residential areas. Lima has many excellent hotels and museums as well as varied restaurants and souvenir shops. Visiting the Historic Center of Lima-Peru is a must in the agenda for all travelers!
